Mahamakut Buddhist University Isan Campus (MBU ISC) hosted the 5th National and 2nd International Academic Conference under the theme “Buddhist Nonviolent Approaches in the Context of the Global Digital Society” on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Mahamakut Buddhist University Isan Campus. The morning session commenced with the opening ceremony, presided over by Phrabrahmasakyavamshavisuddhi, Dr., with Phrasutheevajaradhamma, Asst. Prof. Dr., delivering the welcome address. Phramaha Suphachai Suphakicco, Assoc. Prof. Dr., served as the main organizer of the event.
During the session, a special keynote lecture on “Buddhist Nonviolent Approaches in the Context of the Global Digital Society” was delivered by Phrabrahmasakyavamshavisuddhi, Dr., followed by a presentation of honorary plaques to co-hosts and a group luncheon.
The afternoon session, featured academic paper presentations organized by subject groups as follows: Group 1 – Education / Educational Administration / Leadership / Teaching Thai Language / Teaching Social Studies; Group 2 – Political Science / Governance / Public Administration / Social Work; Group 3 – Buddhism / Philosophy and Religion; Group 4 – Poster Presentations; and Group 5 – Oral Presentations at the International Level. Distinguished experts participated in providing feedback and facilitating discussion within each group.
